Ronald Juzeler - Orchestra

Hello My Name Is...

Mr. Ronald Juzeler

I am a University of Arkansas graduate in Music Education and a Razorback at heart. My love for orchestra began during the 6th grade in Bentonville, Arkansas when I first picked up a cello in the school orchestra. With the support of my educators, orchestra directors, friends, and family, I realized that the orchestra would be a part of my life forever.

I am a classically trained cellist who loves performing! Throughout high school and college, I was a section cellist with the Arkansas Philharmonic Orchestra and the Fort Smith Symphony. Since moving to the Kansas City area, I now perform with the Northland Symphony and Liberty Symphony. Students can normally find me playing violin, viola, cello, or bass before and after school. I also regularly model playing on each instrument for students during class.

However, education is my true passion. During my undergraduate career at the University of Arkansas, I taught cello through my private studio and with the University of Arkansas Community Music School, taught violin classes to 2nd grade students, was the cello and bass instructor at the Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony music camp in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and was recently the String Ensemble director at the Youth Music Academy's summer music camp in July 2019. I also completed my student teaching internship at the Paseo Academy of Fine and Performing Arts as well as Garfield Elementary School with the Kansas City Public Schools system.

My vision is to instill values to students that go beyond music. Values like dedication, teamwork, accuracy, self-discipline, critical thinking, and compassion through the lens of music.

Let's have a great year filled with fun and music!
