🥚💥 Our awesome 8th graders designed ways to reduce impact force and protect an egg dropped from 12 feet high — some impressive (and messy!) results! 💜💛
🎨 Mrs. Eucker’s artists teamed up to create a collaborative “pipescape”! Each student designed their own section, practicing how to create 3D form through shading. The challenge? Connecting their pipes with neighbors so the designs flowed seamlessly across multiple pages — resulting in one incredible, unified piece! 💜🖌️

In Mr. Preston’s engineering, students put their design skills to the test with a popsicle stick structure challenge! Using just 25 sticks and some hot glue, one impressive build held a whopping 107.6 pounds before breaking! 🔥👏

The SHHS book club is hosting a used book drive to benefit the JoCo Christmas Bureau! Those wanting to participate can drop off donations at either the SHHS or SHMS Libraries during the first 2 weeks of October.
