Mr. Meek has been our therapist, mechanic, groundskeeper, babysitter, substitute, fearless leader, and whatever else our Maverick family needs to be successful. Thank you to the man who can accomplish anything with a cup of coffee in his hand and a pair of Hey Dudes on his feet! 💜💛

From April 14–21, we’ll be collecting simple items that will be used to create dog toys and treat bags for rescue animals at the upcoming SHRC Daffodil Days on April 25.
How You Can Help:
Please consider sending any of the following items with your student:
• Clean old t-shirts or towels (for braided dog toys)
• Store-bought dog treats
🎉 Friendly Competition:
We’ll also be hosting an advisory class competition to see which class can collect the most donations—winning class gets special recognition!
All items can be turned in to your student’s advisory classroom during the collection week.
Thank you for supporting our students as they give back and make a difference in our community! 💛
If you have any questions, please reach out to Alec Hitchens at hitchensale@usd230.org
